I might not need a US bank account.
I've been looking at a website called bookbaby.com. For a fee of $99 per book, they will format it for all the various markets/devices . . . and will handle the accounts for you ... AND PAY INTO PAYPAL.
Which sounds like a good arrangement. I do not have any deals with bookbaby or paypal. I haven't decided whether I'll use them or not . . . and I'm sure there are others out there who do something similar.
But the upshot is this will mean getting direct deposits into PayPal, instead of cheques that can take 28 days to clear (plus bank fees).
Something to think about for those of us living in "The Rest of the World".
